Dinning in The Dark Kuala Lumpur

Hi everyone! So in this post I would like to share about my very first experience when I try to eat with darkness... Sounds cool right? It's really a good experience because I have never try something like that before and yeah, I will definitely come back for again! So, how I found out about Dining in The Dark KL? Actually I just walk pass by when my boyfriend and I walking around at Jalan Alor to find something to eat and we get interested to try that. Like I mean, isn't that cool to try something new or even you can't find it at other places? I know it's not really a new thing for dinning in the dark concept but, Dining in The Dark KL provided something that's different! So what make it so different than other similar restaurant are first, they serve 100% Halal food which is Muslim friendly restaurant and they also provide Vegetarian option for those who are Vegetarian (because I don't think other restaurant with the same concept provide Halal or Vegetarian option to the guest, usually they only ask for allergic), the second is the host and server that serving the food to all guest are visionless, yes... there's no typo, all of the waiters are blind but! They all very friendly and helpful (which is the part I love the most)! The third, they provide locker for the guest to put their belonging so that we can totally enjoy the dinner without worrying to lost our bags or phone, the last but not least the food they serve is not a set of western or asian food, but they mix it so you can have several country food and every course they serve were really delicious! So, how is it exactly work?  How could we possible to eat without knowing what we gonna eat or even when we can't see the cutlery?  It will be difficult for us to enjoy the meal! Okay okay, hold on dude, calm down, let me finish this okay! So, before we enter the dinning room, we will wait at the waiting lounge for awhile and play some games! Yes, games... They will serve a welcome drink for each of you which is mixed juice, after you drink it they will ask you to guess the fruits inside the juice that you drink, then they will give you an eyes mask to cover your eyes and you have to take out at least 2 paper clip inside a can that full of rice and beans... I like the game, because it's fun and I manage to finish it in few second✌ After you finish the warm up, they will lead you to lockers and you can put all your stuff inside there and of course you can bring the key with you. When you ready to enter the dinning room, they will call one of the staff which is your host that will assist you during you dinning, mine was Marcus (I hope I got it right), Marcus was really friendly and helpful! He lead us to our table and he give us a quick brief about the table, cutlery, etc. When serving the food I remember there were Raj and Emman (I hope I got it right again), every time they going to serve us the food they will very careful to put it on our table and they will tell you the eating direction like where should you start and mostly the pattern is clockwise. Not to mention the food, it was totally nice and delicious! So what I eat at Dining in The Dark KL? Actually I don't remember much because in a course they could serve like 2 or 3 or even 4 different food (even after I finish the dinning they showed me the menu), so I only remember few that I find interesting haha ,I really like every course that they serve and if you curious which is my favorite? I will choose Soup and Desert💕 They charge RM 118 for each person (Classic Menu/Vegetarian Menu), if you wanted to try Dining in The Dark KL, I suggest you to make a reservation before you go because not every people as lucky as me that could get a table when they walk-in. If you need other information for Dinning in The Dark KL you can kindly visit there website here. It's really a great time and I will definitely come back for again!
